Our scientists and engineers from across the company can now work together to share expertise, ideas, and technology platforms, opening up new frontiers for customers, and driving growth for Magellan. For example, Dynex currently uses a variety of optical-detection technologies in its diagnostics products suitable for cellular biochemistry applications, while ESA has expertise in electrochemical detection, currently used in its blood lead analyzers that have applications in other point-of-care and clinical analyzer products. Dynex’s automation expertise will be useful to TREK as it continues development of its next-generation automated microbiology products. And Magellan is uniquely positioned in the industry to translate discoveries in the research market, such as novel metabolomic biomarkers and cell-based information, into commercial diagnostic products.
