As Chief Innovation Officer, Adrian Bunce’s charge is to build on Magellan’s track record of innovation and success in bringing products to market that make diagnostic testing easier, more cost-effective, and less labor intensive. The products in Magellan’s R&D pipeline are all designed to speed delivery of the critical results that clinicians need to make informed treatment decisions – a value proposition that Mr. Bunce has delivered consistently as a 20-year veteran of Magellan’s predecessor companies (Dynex, Dynatech Laboratories, Thermo Electron). Most-recently, Mr. Bunce was president of the Dynex business. Previously, he served in a variety of technical services, R&D, and manufacturing roles. Mr. Bunce was instrumental in the development of the concept and technical specifications for the DSX and DS2 automated ELISA processing system. He started his professional career in electronic engineering design and software development, working for a small automation company where he managed the development of general engineering solutions for industry, including a multi-million-dollar system for the London Underground.
