Jeffrey M. Cohen Vice President, Information Technologies
Jeffrey Cohen joined Magellan as vice president of information technology in December 2008. He is charged with overseeing Magellan’s worldwide IT and communications systems as a foundation that supports and advances the company’s customer focus and goals for innovation, growth, and continuous improvement in all aspects of business.. Mr. Cohen came to Magellan after six years at Biogen Idec, Inc, a leader in innovative therapeutics, where he was most recently director of information technology, responsible for the company’s global enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform and ancillary systems for finance, human resources, legal, and business development. Previous roles at Biogen Idec included responsibility for the company’s external commercial Web presence and internal intranet. Mr. Cohen started his career at Cambridge Technology Partners, where he worked for four years on customer relationship management (CRM) solutions for the financial industry in various positions of increasing responsibility – from developer to technical lead, architect, and project manager. In 1996, he earned an MBA in strategic and entrepreneurial management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Cohen then returned to Cambridge Technology Partners, where he served first as a client partner, and ultimately, as the vice president for its e-business practice. Mr. Cohen received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Cornell University. |
